Well, I know I said I wasn't going to do it, but last night I looked at fantasy basketball. I even did a mock draft.
I'm not a fan of basketball, I don't really like watching it, I don't know all the statistical stuff like I do in baseball and getting better with in football. However, fantasy football is already half way over. I will need something to tide me over and to blog about until next baseball season. So, shall I venture into the unknown?

Adds/Drops:
Dropped Keenan Allen - WR
Added Terrance Willams - WR
Thoughts:
I'm ready for my #1 pick, Ray Rice, to step up and have a good game. He's only averaged 6.1 points a game so far. Hopefully Tony Romo will keep finding Terrance Williams to make my waiver wire pick up a success. 130 points sure would be nice, but I'm going to look into my crystal ball and predict 107 points and a win.

Time to stretch
Wow, I think it may be coming together.
I think I've finally got some formatting ideas down.
Tomorrow I will post the week 9 outlook for the Immortal Flames
Friday I will post the week 9 outlook for the Aurochs.
What I would like to do from here on out:
Mondays: I would like to post about this past fantasy baseball season.
Tuesdays: Post recaps for the Marauders and Immortal Flames.
Wednesdays: Post recaps for the Aurochs and Post an outlook/preview for the Marauders.
Thursdays: Post outlook/preview for Immortal Flames.
Fridays: Post outlook/preview for Aurochs.
Saturdays and Sundays: Nothing!
I'll try this for now. I may shove all recaps onto one day and all outlooks onto another, but we'll see.
Again, if anyone reads all of this and somehow finds it interesting, please comment and give me ideas for stuff to do! Make sure you check out the draft recaps for my football teams at the top of the page, or here!

K | Dan Bailey | 17 |
Total Points | 63 |
What went right:
Adrian Peterson finally getting a double digit game after two weeks of crapping the bed.
What went wrong:
Pierre Garcon. I've almost had it with him. Every week he gets a ton of targets and catches, but end up with minimal yards and 0 touchdowns. He has only had 1 good game this year and that was back in week 2. Yet again all of the experts have him projected for double digit points next week. I'm not holding my breath.
Thoughts:
This team has had several hard luck losses, it was good to get a solid win against a bad team. Even if my opponent switched Dwayne Bowe with Josh Gordon and Lamar Miller for Trent Richardson he would still only have had 90 points.
Stat of the week:
Even though I'm 4-4 with this team, I'm tied for 2nd.
Ul'Dah Immortal Flames Week 8 Recap
My 5-2 team vs. a 2-5 team.
Ul'Dah Immortal Flames
What went right:
My opponent forgetting to switch out Jordy Nelson with Andre Johnson, which would have resulted in a tie.
What went wrong:
Three players scoring just 2 points.
Thoughts:
I'll take any win I can get and this one seemed a bit like a steal with almost half my team under performing.
Stat of the week:
A 5 game win streak for me and I am in a tie for 1st.

Junktown Marauders Week 8 Recap
My 6-1 team vs. a 3-4 team.
Junktown Marauders
What went right:
Picking up Andy Dalton on the waiver wire and having him go off for 31 points.
What went wrong:
Benching Jimmy Graham. He barely practiced all week and was on a limited snap count. Drew Brees made them count in the red zone and Graham picked up 15 points.
Thoughts:
Scoring 110 and losing is a tough pill to swallow, but I'm still in 1st place albeit a tie.
Stat of the week:
I have the most points scored in the league so far with 910. The team behind me has 793.

Fantasy Word Vomit
I'm starting this blog because I enjoy, maybe even love playing fantasy baseball, and now that enjoyment is spreading to fantasy football. Maybe it will become a medical problem and I will start playing fantasy basketball or hockey, who knows?
Anyway, I am just going to start typing about fantasy sports things and I will attempt to put things in some sort of order. If I'm lucky, maybe I can get someone else to read this besides myself.
Some history on me. I have been playing fantasy baseball for 6 years now, and each year I add a league to manage daily. Ever since I have started, I've had at least one team win 1st place and I have gotten better each year. This past season I had 6 fantasy teams, all ESPN leagues. Five 10 team leagues and one 12 team league. 3 of those were standard roto scoring, 2 were h2h each category, and the 12 team league was a custom 6 x 6 roto scoring league. I finished 1st with 4 teams and 2nd with the last two. Maybe as a way to make it though the off season, I will do an individual, in depth write up for each team.
So, I love fantasy baseball. I think I'm pretty good at it. So why not write about it since I like to write sometimes?
Now comes fantasy football.
I've been playing for 3 years. First season I did awful. Last year I tried two teams and finished in the middle of the pack with both. This season, I did a lot more research before the draft and drafted 3 teams. So far, pretty good. I'll be doing individual write ups on those teams, and my plan is to talk/rant about how the weeks go.
I will gladly take any feedback, suggestions, and comments!
UPDATE (10/30/13): The title is a work in progress. If you have an idea for the title, let me know!
